    Purchases

  1. Acceptable payment methods include PayPal, wire transfer sent in pounds sterling (GBP), money order drawn in pounds sterling (GBP), cheque drawn in pounds sterling (GBP) and Western Union money transfer in pounds sterling (GBP).
  2. PayPal payments are only accepted from confirmed and verified PayPal accounts and where PayPal's "Seller Protection" scheme is available for the transaction. Any PayPal payments that do not satisfy these requirements will be refunded without exception. If your PayPal account cannot meet the requirements as stated above then please pay by one of the alternative methods listed.
  3. The exchange rate applied by PayPal may differ from the that which is quoted from the Shoping Basket. We accept no liability for any such discrepancies.
  4. Payment is required immediately from appropriate PayPal accounts; alternative payments are expected within 3 business days from UK bidders or within 7 days from international bidders. If payment is not received within these timescales, the item will be relisted for sale without notice and late payments will not be accepted.
  5. All goods remain the property of RL Day until paid for.
  6. The majority of items on this site are pre-owned; please do not expect them to be in brand new condition. All flaws and signs of use will be clearly disclosed within each item’s description and detailed photographs are provided. You can, however, be assured that what you are buying is authentic Louis Vuitton.
  7. This web site operates an automated stock control system. In the unlikely event that two customers both add the same product to their respective carts and then pay for it before it is marked as out of stock by the system the customer who completes the transaction first will be deemed to have bought the item. The other customer will be sent a refund as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after the transaction, unless they wish to purchase an alternative item.
  8. Please do note that we are not affiliated with Louis Vuitton and have no association with the LVMH Fashion Group. We are simply a small business for customers wishing to purchase pre-owned Louis Vuitton online.

    9. Cancellations

  9. We fully comply with the EC Distance Selling Directive.
  10. We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if we do not deliver to your area or the goods that you ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and will credit your account with any sum deducted by us as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

    11. Returns

  11. Items must only be returned on receipt of a Returns Authorisation email.
  12. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error.
  13. Returned items must be sent in accordance with postage instructions sent with your Returns Authorisation e-mail.
  14. Items must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were sent, including any receipts or other objects associated with the purchase.
  15. All returned items will be inspected on receipt. If the item is accepted by us then you will receive a refund of payment minus the original postage fees. The refund will also be subject to a 10% administration fee to cover costs incurred.
  16. Refunds will take place as soon as possible but no later than 30 days after we accept the returned item.
  17. If you do not return the goods or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be refunded to you.

    18. Security and Privacy

  18. Online credit card transactions are handled securely by PayPal.
  19. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process and deliver your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.
  20. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address and goods ordered. Credit/debit card details are collected by PayPal only.
  21. We will not email you except in connection with your current order or query unless you are subscribed to our mailing list.
  22. We will not supply any of your details to any third party in the future except for the purposes of debt recovery, unless required by law.
  23. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your consent and the information we do hold will be accurate and up to date.
  24. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you notify us of any inaccuracies we will correct the errors promptly. Personal information will be held securely in accordance with the law (UK Data Protection Act 1998).

    25. Complaints

    26. Additional Points

  26. This contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
  27. If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
  28. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights.
  29. Attempted fraud and/or theft will be reported to the relevant authority and appropriate legal action will be taken.
